This program provides financial assistance, including a gift of 100,000 rupees in cash (Salami) and dowry items worth 206,000 rupees. The dowry package includes items like the Holy Quran, prayer mat, a wooden double bed with a mattress, glassware, and a dinner set. The Salami amount will be given to the bride through an ATM card. Registration Process

Registration for the Dhee Rani Program has started, and a web portal is available for online applications. Parents who wish to register their daughters for the 100,000 rupees Salami and dowry gifts should apply as soon as possible. The online registration process is simple and hassle-free.

A complaint portal and helpline have also been set up to assist applicants. Registration can be done through the web portal or by visiting the Deputy Director of Social Welfare’s office in the respective district between October 21 and November 5.

Collective Marriage Program

Maryam Nawaz Sharif has approved the Punjab Dhee Rani Program for organizing collective marriage ceremonies. The goal is to help deserving families fulfill their social and religious obligations with dignity. In the first phase, 3,000 girls will get married in a collective ceremony. The program aims to continue and expand to help more low-income families in Punjab and reduce their financial burdens.

In Islam, marriage is a sacred contract that lays the foundation for a stable family life and serves as a solution to social problems. Due to economic difficulties, many families struggle to arrange their daughters’ marriages. The collective marriage program will bring hope and stability to society by providing government-supported assistance.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the Dhee Rani Program, the following conditions must be met:

  • The girl’s age should be between 18 and 40 years.
  • Orphan girls or daughters of disabled parents can benefit.
  • The application can be submitted by the bride’s parents, guardian, or the bride herself.
  • The applicant must be a resident of Punjab, and the bride should also belong to Punjab.
  • If there are more applications than the available spots, a computerized lottery will decide the selection.
  • An affidavit confirming the bride’s unmarried status and willingness to participate in the collective marriage ceremony is required.

How to Register for the Dhee Rani Program

The registration process is straightforward. Follow these steps to register:

  1. Go to the Punjab Dhee Rani Program portal at cmp.punjab.gov.pk.
  2. Fill in your details, including your name, CNIC number, district, tehsil, gender, mobile network, contact number, and email address.
  3. Create a password and click the registration button to complete the process.

Once registered, log in to the portal to start the application process.

Online Registration Steps

The registration involves six steps:

  1. Bride’s Information: Enter details like the bride’s name, CNIC number, age, education, and whether she is an orphan or has a disability.
  2. Bride’s Parents or Guardian Information: Provide the details of the parents or guardian, including names, CNIC numbers, phone numbers, and income information.
  3. Groom’s Information: Fill in the groom’s details such as name, CNIC number, age, and education.
  4. Groom’s Parents or Guardian Information: Enter the details of the groom’s parents or guardian.
  5. Document Upload: Submit required documents, including photos and CNICs of both the bride and groom, as well as their parents.
  6. Affidavit: Agree to the conditions of the program by confirming an affidavit.

After completing these steps, your application will be submitted for verification. You will receive an SMS notification once the process is complete. Alternatively, you can also submit your application at the office of the Deputy Director of Social Welfare.
